Lia - Board Certified Licensed Dispensing Optician
Lia is our General Manager and a Board-Certified, Licensed Dispensing Optician with a passion for exceptional eye care. She holds official licensure from the State of Florida and is nationally certified by both the American Board of Opticianry and the National Contact Lens Examiners.
Lia joined our practice in 2015, bringing more than 25 years of customer service experience to our team. Her extensive expertise ensures our patients receive the highest standard of care, accurate prescriptions, and seamless service. Outside of the office, Lia is an avid fan of competitive off-road ATV racing and loves spending quality time with her friends and family.
Pauline - Office Manager
Pauline is our dedicated office manager and has been an essential part of our team since 2007. Bilingual and highly organized, she keeps the office running smoothly and consistently supports both our team and patients. Outside of work, Pauline enjoys spending quality time with her husband and family. Her years of experience, strong leadership, and warm personality make her an invaluable asset to our office!
Crystal - Insurance Specialist & Apprentice Optician
She joined our practice in 2017. With her experience in Optical, this makes her highly skilled in untangling the complexities of Insurance.
As one of our Insurance Billers, she manages the coordination of benefits between Insurance plans, ensuring your claims are processed accurately and efficiently. She is always happy to answer your billing questions and advocate on your behalf with insurance providers. She is also bilingual, which is a great asset to our practice.
In her spare time, she enjoys sightseeing and spending quality time with family and friends.
Marion - Optical Staff
Marion is part of our Optical staff. She has been with our practice since 2009 and has been in the optical field for 30 years. In her free time she enjoys horseback riding, fishing, oil painting and motorcycle riding.
Izzy - Optical Staff
Izzy is one of our bilingual optical staff members, she joined our team in 2025
She enjoys helping patients and making them feel they are in a safe space. She is a wonderful out going person who enjoys going to the beach with her dog. And exploring new areas around Florida, she also likes to enjoy time with friends and family.
Brenda - Optical Manager
Brenda has been a valued member of our team since 2018 and now proudly serves as our Optical Manager. As a bilingual member of our team, she enjoys helping patients find the perfect frames and lenses while making their optical experience comfortable and personalized.
Outside of work, Brenda enjoys spending quality time with her family and being outdoors. She loves connecting with patients and being part of the Big Lake Eye Care family!
Amanda - Laboratory Technician
Amanda is one of our Lab Technicians. She has been with us since 2017. She works hard in the lab, using the latest machinery and tools to produce high-quality eyewear that fits our patients' needs.
In her spare time, she loves to go on vacation and spend time with family, friends, and her furbabies.
Diana - Laboratory Technician
Diana is our Laboratory technician and has been with us since 2019. She strives to provide our patients with the best quality eyewear.
In her spare time, she loves going to the gym and spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Leo.
Dee Dee - Insurance Billing Manager
Dee Dee has been with our practice since 2007 and has many years of medical/vision billing experience. She will be happy to help you with any Insurance questions you may have.
Ashley - Optical Staff and Apprentice Optician
Ashley is part of our optical team. She has been with us since 2023. She strives to make sure our patients have a great experience choosing glasses that fit their needs, but also that they love.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.
Angela - Optometric Technician
Angela is a bilingual optometric technician who loves creating a calm, welcoming experience for every patient. She is known for being kind, gentle, and patient—qualities that help her connect with people and provide thoughtful care. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their dog, and friends, as well as nurturing her garden and growing in her faith with Jesus. She truly enjoys helping others and feels blessed to be part of a team that supports healthy vision and happy lives.
Patricia - Receptionist
Patricia is a friendly and dedicated receptionist at our office. Bilingual in both English and Spanish, she is always ready to assist our patients with a warm smile. In her free time, Patricia enjoys reading and unwinding with her beloved cats. Her positive attitude and passion for helping others make her an invaluable member of our team.
Linda - Optometric Technician
Linda is a bilingual member of our team who brings a fun personality and great sense of humor to the practice. She enjoys making people laugh and helping everyone get through even the busiest days with a smile.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends, as well as playing pickleball, trying new foods, and outdoor activities like kayaking and taking walks. She truly enjoys making the most of life and is happy to be part of a team that provides exceptional vision care.
Felicia - Optical Staff
Felicia is a compassionate and caring person who truly loves helping patients and making a positive difference in their lives. My faith is very important to me, and I love going to church and continuing to grow in my relationship with Jesus. Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, going fishing, and making memories together. I'm also a big football fan and love relaxing and cheering on my favorite team. Faith, family, caring for others, and enjoying the simple things in life are what mean the most to me.
